Front Porch Forum Information Meeting

Please join us on Thursday, August 10th at 6:30 pm for an information on bringing Front Porch Forum to Cambridge, White Creek, and Jackson.

What is Front Porch Forum?

FPF is a free a community-building service. Your neighborhood's forum is only open to the people who live there (in our case our FPF will cover the Cambridge Central School district and the towns of Cambridge, Jackson, and White Creek). It's all about helping neighbors connect. Communities across Vermont each have their own FPF now, and the service expanded to Argyle, NY in 2014. FPF is NOT social media. Sign-up to users is free, and users get one email per day. Posts are moderated and they are not anonymouse - and nothing "nasty" is allowed.

We need to raise a one-time fee of $5,000 to bring FPF to our community. Once it is up and running, sign-up to individuals is free, and businesses, organizations, and individuals have the option to donate annually and/or advertise.

"FPF connects me to my community, makes the bond between us stronger, and personal conversations continue due to FPF postings. I look forward to reading it every night. I'm not a Facebook fan but I LOVE Front Porch Forum."
— Marianne Eaton

"When I moved the first things I did was look for Front Porch Forum. It is a vital key in any neighborhood and am so grateful to have it in Saint Albans. It keeps us up to date on current events, and to share a laugh or two. Every neighborhood in America needs one!"
— Katrina McLamb
